Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are a private practice seeking a experienced dental Assistant. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00 PM. Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Pay will be based on experience. Please submit your resume to be considered! Please only apply if you have 3 years or more experience.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Experience in a dental clinic setting

- Experience with ordering supplies
- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry, including making temporary crowns, taking impressions, and endo.
