We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team . Our practice is committed to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and professional environment. **Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Perform dental charting and record keeping
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- X-ray certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental) is an advantage
