Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and be proficient in various dental procedures. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
• Perform X-ray imaging as required, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with the fitting of dental appliances.
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and medical documentation.
• Operate 3D scanners for accurate imaging and assist in creating digital impressions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Exhibit knowledge of dental anatomy to provide informed assistance during treatments.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems.
• Experience with X-ray procedures and safety protocols is essential. X-ray license strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of implants and prosthodontics practices is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support within the clinic.
• Ability to speak Spanish
