Dental Assistant

At Norton Family Dental, we are a locally owned private dental practice proudly serving the Kernersville community. Our team is close-knit, professional, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient—and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant who shares that same passion for care and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Take digital x-rays and assist with other diagnostic imaging
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
• Accurately document patient information and charting
• Assist with front desk tasks such as scheduling and confirming appointments when needed
• Manage inventory and maintain proper stocking of supplies
• Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure a safe, compliant environment

Qualifications:

• Current Dental Assistant certification in North Carolina
• NC X-ray certification required
• CPR certification preferred
• Prior dental office experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
• Friendly, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
