Dental Assistant

About us

Busy cosmetic and restorative dental practice seeking an experienced dental assistant to join our team. The state of the art facility is paperless and uses Dentrix software.

The candidate must be dependable, with multi-tasking and problem solving abilities. All of our staff have been with us for 8 years plus.

The successful candidate will assist the dentist during procedures and will analyze dental x-rays to determine the severity of cavities and other conditions. Candidates must be comfortable with taking initiative and following through with an assigned task and should have prior experience working in a dental office.

Responsibilities:

• Sterilizing instruments
• Taking intra-oral and panoramic radiographs
• Chairside assisting
• Charting and recording clinical notes
• Taking impressions
• Learning to use an intra-oral scanner
• Preparing and breaking down operatories
• Sending and receiving lab cases

Must have radiology certification

Our work environment includes:

• Modern office setting

Business Hours:

M, T, Th, F: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Sat: 8:00 - 2:00. 2 Saturdays a month ( every other Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
