Role Description

We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant for a full-time, on-site position in Albuquerque, NM. The Dental Assistant will support Dr. Adkins during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, manage sterilization processes, handle patient interactions, and assist in various aspects of dental care. Other duties include maintaining dental equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols, ordering dental supplies, and providing oral healthcare education to patients.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Dental Care, including assisting during procedures and providing patient support.
• Proficiency in Dental Assisting, with strong understanding of patient preparation and chairside assisting techniques.
• Knowledge of Sterilization processes and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
• Strong foundation in teamwork to maintain an effective workflow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and team members professionally.
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential preferred; state-approved certification and licensing required.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a streamlined and organized workspace
