Dental Assistant Instructor

Division: Adult Education

Location: Main Campus, 110 Elwood Davis Road, Liverpool

Duties :Responsibilities include guiding adult learners through the technical skills, clinical procedures, and professional ethics required to thrive in a modern dental office.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver High-Impact Instruction: Lead classroom lectures and hands-on lab sessions covering chairside assisting, radiology, dental materials, and infection control.

Clinical Supervision: Oversee students during lab practice to ensure safety, proper ergonomics, and mastery of dental instruments.

Curriculum Management: Utilize provided lesson plans while bringing your real-world experience to life through case studies and practical demonstrations.

Student Mentorship: Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare learners for certification exams (e.g., DANB) and externships.

Lab Maintenance: Ensure the dental lab is stocked, equipment is maintained, and all OSHA/HIPAA protocols are strictly followed.

Qualifications: Must be a New York State Licensed Dental Assistant, minimum of three years’ experience in the field. DANB, CDA beneficial but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
