Dental Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients of all ages, and maintaining high standards of dental practice.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Basic restorative procedures - crowns and fillings
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.

Experience

• A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry being an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical documentation, and medical imaging techniques is essential.
• Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care while effectively managing diverse patient needs.
