Dental Biller

Role Summary

The Dental Biller’s role is to ensure accurate billing of invoices to our clients and carriers by following standard billing policies and procedures. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for: providing fee quotes and fee approvals to our clients, calling vendors for updated fees and final invoices, and monitoring incoming emails and faxes to the billing department

Responsibilities Essential Functions:

· Investigate any discrepancies on statements

· Provide fee quotes and fee approvals to patients

· Monitor incoming emails and faxes to billing department.

· Bill patients in a timely and accurate manner.

· Analyze patient statements and/or supporting documentation for accuracy Sort, print, and attach invoices to hardcopy work and forward to appropriate departments for processing

· Evaluate processes for improved efficiency and accuracy Assist in special projects throughout the year Sort, print, and attach invoices to hardcopy work and forward to appropriate departments for processing Monitor emails for any critical orders or rushes and process in a timely manner.

· Report daily productivity to Supervisor Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications Educational and/or Experience Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Minimum of three years relevant experience

· Experience using Open Dental and Dentrix

Skills and Abilities

· Good understanding of basic dental billing procedures

· Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

· Highly self motivated and directed

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work in a team environment

· Good analytical skills and problem solving abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
