Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Review complex cases, guide treatment plans, and mentor dentists and clinical staff.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and professional development for dentists, hygienists, and support staff.
  • Manage practice operations, including budgeting, staffing, workflow optimization, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic goals for practice growth, patient satisfaction, and community impact.
  • Represent the practice in community outreach, oral health education, and professional networks.
  • Oversee risk management, patient safety, and quality assurance programs.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, services, and clinical protocols to enhance care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and licensed in Missouri.
  • Significant clinical experience, with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred.
  • Training or experience in managing pediatric behavioral health issues and dental anxiety is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust and rapport with children and families while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of current dental technologies and techniques, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Sedation certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Proven leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Commitment to long-term service to the practice and community, with a focus on rural and underserved patient care.
  • Strong understanding of dental practice operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: From $260,000.00 per year
