Duties

• Assistant hygienists during hygiene visits.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
• Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation standards
• Record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates; monitor patient comfort throughout procedures
• Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical records in Open Dental and coordinating appointment schedules with the dental receptionist
• Maintain infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures in line with industry best practices
• Willing to cross train for Front Desk duties.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment or similar healthcare setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards with Xray certification,
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
• Experience with infection control practices, sterilization techniques, and aseptic protocols
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
