Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
• Perform imaging as required to assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Michigan.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
• Proficiency in dental coding and documentation practices.
• Experience with systems used for patient management and dental records.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.

Pay: $45.39 - $48.65 per hour
