Dental Practice Manager

The role:

As the dental Practice Experience Manager, you will be the driving force behind our patient satisfaction and operational success. You will manage the aspects of the practice and act as a visionary leader who inspires our team to achieve new levels of excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor front-office and administrative staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Responsible for the daily non-clinical operations of their assigned office including patient satisfaction, revenue, profitability, non-clinical team selection, performance, development and other business-related functions as delegated by direct business manager.
  • Ensures the office has a full patient schedule each day and optimizes daily schedules.
  • Create and coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  • Resole team conflicts and foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
  • Play a key role in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new administrative team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Coordinate schedule management for staff, ensuring optimal coverage.
  • Oversee all daily administrative operations, including scheduling, billing, collections, and insurance verification.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a dental office settings required
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix) and a proficiency with standard office software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and an ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
