Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong administrative abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient service. As the first point of contact, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and support the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
  • Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefit verification accurately.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including data entry and documentation review.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear and courteous communication.
  • Maintain accurate dental records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with billing procedures, including medical collection processes and payment processing.
  • Support office management tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining organized medical records.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a dental office with familiarity using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification procedures.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
  • Excellent phone etiquette, typing speed (including 10-key), and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA standards with attention to detail during documentation review.
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
