Dental Receptionist / Front Office at a Family Dental Practice

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA

Position Type: 32 hrs/week

Experience Preferred: 1+ year in a dental or medical front office

Our friendly, family-oriented dental practice is looking for a Dental Receptionist who strives to create a welcoming and stress-free experience for every patient. If you’re a people-person who is organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys problem-solving, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

• Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel cared for from check-in to check-out
• Schedule appointments efficiently and manage a busy calendar
• Handle phone calls with professionalism and empathy
• Verify insurance, explain treatment plans, and manage billing questions
• Maintain accurate patient records and support smooth daily office operations
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in a dental or medical front office (dental preferred)
• Strong technological skills (practice management software, computers, multi-line phones)
• A critical thinker who can anticipate needs, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• A positive attitude and genuine care for patients of all ages

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• dental back office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dental Front office: 1 year (Required)
