Hours: M,Tu,Th 7:45AM-5PM & W 7:45AM-12PM

No Fridays or Weekends

The ideal candidate for a Dental Treatment Coordinator position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, have a friendly and professional demeanor, and have experience with dental office procedures and insurance.

The primary role of this position

The Dental Treatment Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative, clinical, and patient relations aspects of a dental office. This role must be able to work independently within a collaborative environment. This role’s primary duty is managing the schedule to exceed the daily goals. The job includes the following tasks:

• Reception: Greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient information in Open Dental.
• Billing and Insurance: Verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and handling payment and billing issues.
• Patient Relations: Assisting patients with questions, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Office Management: Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment, and managing supplies and equipment.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and handling patient privacy issues.
• Team Coordination: Working under the supervision of the office manager to closely align with clinical dental staff, including providing administrative support for 3 dentists, 3 hygienists, and other clinical staff, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Positive attitude with an outgoing personality
• Ability to multitask
• Fast learner
• Computer and/or data entry experience
• Advanced education - college coursework and/or degree
• Basic understanding of dental terminology
• Dental experience is REQUIRED with a current & active Texas RDA license

Experience:

• Open Dental: 1 year (Preferred)
• Licensed RDA: 1 year (Required)
