What You’ll Do:

• Explain treatment plans to patients clearly, guiding them through procedures, costs, and insurance coverage.
• Collaborate with dental providers to create accurate, patient-centered care plans.
• Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle pre-authorizations using systems like Eaglesoft
• Manage patient records efficiently in EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth.
• Assist with billing, insurance verification, and payment collections related to treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding standards (CPT, ICD-9/10).
• Deliver exceptional patient service, addressing inquiries and supporting appointment scheduling.
• Support office management tasks including filing, data entry, and handling multi-line phone systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in dental office administration or clinical support, with strong knowledge of dental terminology and coding practices.
• Proficiency in EMR systems - Eaglesoft
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes, including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve our diverse patient community.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; typing speed of 10-key digits per minute is advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service, professional phone etiquette, and clerical experience in a busy medical or dental setting.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dental receptionist: 1 year (Required)
• Dental terminology: 1 year (Required)
