Job Purpose:
as a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and personnel within your designated department to ensure efficient functioning and exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of associates, manage inventory, uphold visual merchandising standards, and drive sales within your department.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of associates, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Customer Service: Ensure all customers receive excellent service through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Sales and Profitability: Drive sales within your department through effective merchandising, product assortment, and promotional activities. Monitor and achieve sales targets and profitability goals.

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks, placing orders, and overseeing replenishment processes.

Visual Merchandising: Ensure the department layout and displays are visually appealing, aligned with company guidelines, and drive sales.

Operational Efficiency: Implement and uphold operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the department, including compliance with health and safety regulations.

Communication: Act as a liaison between store management and department staff, providing regular updates, feedback, and reporting on departmental performance
