  • Support the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of subcontracts and supplier agreements, ensuring terms align with the main contract and company policy.
  • Coordinate the change control process, including the preparation, submission, and negotiation of variation orders and contract amendments.
  • Maintain meticulous records for all contract-related correspondence and documentation, ensuring a robust audit trail.
  • Assist in evaluating and certifying subcontractor and supplier payment applications, ensuring payments are in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Provide support for the financial close-out of subcontracts and prepare final account settlements.
  • Monitor project cash flow, budgets, and cost control measures to maintain project financial health.
  • Help manage and resolve contractual disputes and claims with subcontractors and suppliers through negotiation and mediation.
  • Assist in the preparation of all contractual notices of claims and provide contractual advice to the project team.
  • Ensure all project commercial activities are in full compliance with the head contract, subcontracts, and company procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, working with the Contracts Manager to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Ensure all necessary contractual requirements, such as performance bonds and insurance policies, are in place and up to date.
  • Liaise with the project team, client representatives, and legal counsel on all contractual and commercial matters.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure all parties understand their contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on contract status, claims, and commercial risks to the Contracts Manager and senior management.
