POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs clerical and support functions related to the court system. Work is performed under well established guidelines set forth by Idaho Code and requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
The nature of work for an In-Court Clerk Floater encompasses a broad range of knowledge and features highly complex clerical tasks in addition to directly assisting In-Court Clerks and Judges. This position will not be assigned to a specific judge full-time. The duties assigned will range from being in court a majority of the time, to assisting with out of court tasks and may fluctuate based on the necessity of the division. The work involves a great deal of independence and requires self-discipline to complete timely and within established guidelines. The program knowledge is of such a complex nature that it typically takes new incumbents a substantial amount of time to learn.
- Work is performed onsite at the Ada County Courthouse;

May be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds;

Work is performed primarily in an office environment and the employee in this class is subject to inside environmental conditions;

Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks.
