Qualification & Experience :
- MS/BE in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university in a relevant field, with 12 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation and management of facilities at H-12, Islamabad to include electricity, water supply, sui gas, etc.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)/ ERP modules to streamline store procurement, inventory, and monitoring/ tracking.
- Implement complaint management and redressal process for timely resolution/ action on customer complaints on complaint management dashboard.
- Maintain a digital Record/ Register of NUST buildings, roads and all other assets including matters requiring urgent interventions to ensure longevity and reduce recurring expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of tools, materials, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring maintenance of minimum stock levels of critical items to prevent downtime, and conduct periodic audits to verify stock accuracy and usage patterns.
- Maintain stock in/out with proper authorization and usage tracking and fraud prevention.
- Oversee the receiving of facility supplies, ensuring conformity with purchase orders and specifications, and coordinate inspection and testing prior to acceptance
- Identify unused, expired, or obsolete items and coordinate the disposal of old stock/ unserviceable store/ machinery as per NUST policies and environmental regulations.
- Forecast maintenance requirement and preparation of demand of maintenance budget.
- Assist procurement committee is shortlisting/ evaluation/ hiring and onboarding of vendors.
- Assess vendor performance using KPIs for future tasks and employments.
- Maintain records and documentation for inspections, and facility-related audits.
- Manage administrative matters including staff discipline under E&D rules and initiation of ACRs for reporting officers.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director Works.

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOCfrom Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
