We are hiring a Deputy General Manager for our diversified international holding company operating across trade, logistics, industry, and investment sectors.


Job Title: Deputy General Manager – Turkey Office

Location: Istanbul


About the Company


We are a diversified international holding company with strong operations in trade, logistics, industry, and investment. With a presence across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, our Turkey office serves as a key regional hub for import-export activities and strategic investments. We are seeking a highly capable Deputy General Manager to support the leadership of our Turkey operations, reporting directly to the General Manager and contributing to the group’s international growth and strategic objectives.


Position Overview


The Deputy General Manager will assist in leading the strategic, financial, and operational functions of the Turkey office. This role involves oversight of key business units, coordination with international partners, and ensuring that local operations align with the company’s global standards and vision. The Deputy General Manager will also play an active role in identifying new business opportunities, optimizing internal processes, and strengthening corporate governance.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic & Operational Leadership


  • Support the General Manager in executing business strategies and achieving performance objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.


Trade & Investment Development


  • Assist in managing import-export operations while ensuring compliance with Turkish and international trade regulations.
  • Identify and pursue new business and investment opportunities in Turkey and neighboring markets.
  • Participate in strategic negotiations, partnership development, and deal execution.


Financial & Administrative Management


  • Contribute to budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance and support management with data-driven insights.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, fiscal, and regulatory requirements.


Leadership & Stakeholder Relations


  • Manage and mentor department heads and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain strong communication with headquarters and represent the company before governmental bodies, business partners, and investors.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and accountability across all departments.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of managerial experience in international trade, investment, or corporate operations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multicultural teams.
  • Strong understanding of Turkish business law, international trade regulations, and investment procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Turkish and Arabic is highly preferred.
