Deputy General Manager (Technical)

Job Description:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the plant or regional branch to maximize efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Improve production line efficiencies (PET, can lines), increase syrup yield, reduce down times, and manage inventory levels.
  • Interact with sales departments to achieve targets, analyze new outlets, and reconcile sales data.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety (HACCP), ISO certifications, and regulatory agency standards.
  • Assist the GM in creating business plans, managing P&L (Profit & Loss), controlling expenses, and forecasting budget requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams (production, logistics, sales, maintenance).
  • Liaise with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical)

Experience: 10–15 years of experience in high-volume, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), preferably in the beverage or food industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of production processes (blending, bottling, packaging).
  • Proven experience in managing unionized and non-unionized staff.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and business software.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs600,000.00 per month
