Role Description
The Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial reporting, accounting, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a full-time on-site role based in our Lahore office. The position involves close coordination with various departments, effective fund management, and supervision of payables and receivables.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis.
- Inventory & Stores Coordination.
- Oversee and manage all payables, including but not limited to daily wagers, monthly salaries, equipment rentals, contracts, and vendor-related payments.
- Financial reconciliation of accounts.
- Payment collection, monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage fund requirements, approvals, and timely disbursements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to prioritize urgent payments and liaise with site teams for material demand and usage.
- Verify payments in line with material requisitions, purchase requisitions, and compliance protocols.
- Ensure receipt and validation of duly approved credit notes, accurate tax deductions as per applicable laws, and verification of GD and import documentation for commercial imports.
- Ensure GRNs are properly documented and collaborate with stores for material receiving and related queries.
Qualifications
- ACCA Qualified, CA-Inter, or CA-Finalist (mandatory).
- Candidates having experience in manufacturing, construction and real estate industry will be preferred only.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in accounting and finance management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing accounting and financial reporting systems.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Capable of managing a team, working under tight deadlines, and liaising effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A “Can Do” Attitude with strong professional integrity.
