Deputy Manager – GIS

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GIS operations for fiber network planning, design, and maintenance.
• Manage and maintain spatial databases of fiber routes, joints, handholes, ODFs, and customers.
• Support project teams with GIS-based route feasibility and design validation.
• Supervise and mentor GIS engineers to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics for management reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and Planning teams to integrate GIS data with NMS/OSS/BSS systems.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance, documentation, and metadata standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants for GIS data collection and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geoinformatics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of GIS experience in a telecom fiber environment.
• Strong command of ArcGIS, QGIS, and spatial databases (PostGIS/SQL).
• Knowledge of FTTH, backbone, and metro fiber network architecture.
• Experience with ArcGIS Dashboards for visualization.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs150,000.00 per month
