Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Legal & Secretarial ComplianceLegal & ComplianceAssistant Vice President – Legal & Compliance (AVP)
o Company Secretary (CS) – Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
o Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) – Recognized University (preferably with experience in corporate/financial laws)
1. Secretarial Compliance (Global):
§ Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and global corporate laws.
§ Maintain and update statutory registers, minute books, and records for all group entities.
§ Draft Board resolutions, notice of meetings, minutes, and annual reports for global entities.
§ File necessary forms and necessary returns with MCA (India), Companies House (UK), and other applicable regulatory authorities globally.
§ Support in cross-border restructuring, incorporations, share allotments, and changes in directors/shareholders.
2. Legal Advisory & Contract Management:
§ Draft, review, and negotiate agreements across areas including commercial contracts, vendor/consultancy agreements, NDAs, lease deeds, MOUs, etc.
§ Provide expert legal opinions on AML compliance, real estate matters, data protection, and consumer law across jurisdictions.
§ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure enforceability and risk mitigation in all legal documents.
§ Support for global litigations matter.
3. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Regulatory Compliance:
§ Assist in developing and maintaining AML policies across all entities, ensuring alignment with local laws.
§ Track compliance with KYC, risk assessments, and suspicious transaction reporting requirements.
§ Liaise with compliance officers and regulators as required.
4. Real Estate Legal Support:
§ Review and support in lease and property documentation for domestic and international outlets.
§ Manage legal due diligence for leased or acquired properties.
§ Draft title search reports and assist in land/property registration-related matters.
5. Data Privacy & Tech-Driven Initiatives:
§ Assist in implementing data protection frameworks under GDPR (EU/UK), PDPB (India – when enacted), PIPEDA (Canada) etc.,
§ Support legal digitalization initiatives, including document management systems, legal tech tools, and contract automation.
6. Corporate Governance & Risk:
§ Ensure strong governance framework for the group, including ethics compliance and internal controls.
§ Support internal audits and statutory audits from a legal and compliance perspective.
Skills & Competencies:§ Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research capabilities.§ In-depth knowledge of company law, AML regulations, GDPR, and commercial/real estate law.§ Proficient in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools for end-to-end contract management including drafting, approvals, version control, and repository management.§ Exposure to international compliance and cross-jurisdictional legal issues.§ Ability to assist senior leadership (AVP) in designing and maintaining compliance and legal dashboards, including contract trackers, risk heatmaps, audit checklists, and regulatory calendars.§ Hands-on experience in using legal tech platforms for workflow automation, matter management, and document management systems.§ Tech-savvy with a keen interest in legal digital transformation, analytics, and reporting.§ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and global teams.
2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate legal and secretarial roles, preferably with exposure to multinational or global entities.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
