Job Title: Deputy Manager Quality Assurance

Job Type: Full-Time
Qualification: BS / MS in Food Science & Technology or Food Microbiology.
Experience:

• 4 – 5 years of progressive experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience in any ERP (Production and/or QA Module) will be an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong command over implementing three-leveled Quality Control mechanisms (Input, Process, Output) and ensuring Regulatory Compliance.
• Expert knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and HALAL.
• Proven ability in root cause analysis and productivity improvement techniques.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and team leadership skills.
• Completion of Lead Auditor Courses (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001:2018, Halal & Internal Auditing) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain a robust Quality Assurance environment across production lines, raw materials, and final products.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and review quality control data, reports, and documentation.
• Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Liaise with the Production department to integrate quality standards into all processes.
