Qualification: M.Phil. / M.S. in Food Science & Technology
Experience:

• 4 – 6 years of progressive experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food manufacturing industry.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, QMS, and HALAL standards.
• Proven experience in leading and managing internal and external audits.
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in the food industry.
• In-depth expertise in setting and monitoring quality parameters for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g., in FSSC 22000) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, implement, and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSSC 22000) and other quality systems (HACCP, GMP, HALAL).
• Act as the primary point of contact for all internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Ensure full legal and standard compliance across all operations.
• Oversee and approve quality parameters and specifications for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations into critical quality incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformances, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Review and approve quality control data, reports, and documentation.
• Liaise with other departments (Production, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes.
• Stay updated on emerging food safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
