About the Role
Architecture in Motion Inc. (AIM) is seeking an experienced and visionary QA Manager to lead our Quality Engineering department within the Digital Solutions & Innovation (DSI) division.
The successful candidate will bring 15+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong background in test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery environments. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise — ensuring all AIM products and platforms are delivered with the highest quality standards.
As a core member of the DSI leadership team, the QA Manager will collaborate with Application Development, Cloud & DevOps, and Product teams to define and enforce QA standards across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement AIM’s overall QA strategy, processes, and metrics aligned with DSI delivery objectives.
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of QA Automation Analysts and Test Engineers.
- Collaborate with Application Development, Cloud & DevOps, and Product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Quality Engineering to standardize automation and testing practices across all projects.
Automation & Tools
- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and validation.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging QA tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Drive adoption of API-level and performance testing frameworks to ensure platform reliability.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Define quality metrics and reporting dashboards for leadership visibility.
- Ensure QA processes support compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage release readiness assessments and coordinate sign-off with Product Owners and DevOps leads.
Collaboration & Governance
- Partner with Product, Development, and DevOps to plan test coverage and manage risk-based testing.
- Lead defect triage meetings, identify root causes, and track quality improvements.
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in quality assurance.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience

15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 7 years in QA leadership or management roles.
- Proven expertise in test automation using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience managing large QA teams (20+ members) across multiple enterprise projects.
- Excellent understanding of test strategy, planning, execution, and metrics-driven reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across distributed and cross-functional teams.
Technical & Leadership Skills
