SQA Automation Engineer (Male)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SQA Automation Engineer (Male) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure product stability and performance.
• Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for automation coverage.
• Identify areas for automation within the QA process and continuously improve testing efficiency.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and document test outcomes clearly.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and testing tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to cloud-based test environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
