Deputy QAQC Manager Job Description:
Responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
- Assist the Project QAQC Manager in the implementation and management of the Project Quality Management System.
- Establishing a suitable and efficient Project-specific Quality Management System that includes the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Inspection & Test Plan and Procedures.
- Guide other Project departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning to develop their respective quality management documents.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Source Inspection and Site Quality Team in the performance of their duties & responsibilities and resolution of quality issues.
- Review and approval of the Suppliers’ and Subcontractors’ Quality Management System and Project deliverables.
- Participate in engineering, subcontracting, and procurement document review cycles to ensure specified quality management requirements are met.
- Organize the quality surveillance on other main Project departments, including a minimum of Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
- Plan the QAQC Department and NDT Subcontractor’s manpower allocation in the Project to ensure proper coverage of all activities.
- Plan and organize the internal and external QA audits.
- Manage the Non-Conformity Report (NCR) & Site Observation Report (SOR) status and organize the Lessons Learned activities.
- Monitor project quality KPIs and analyze other quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and Client specifications.
- Train and mentor QAQC Team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Provide support to the Project QAQC Manager in preparing the weekly and monthly quality management reports.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management or related field.
· At least 10 years of experience in QAQC management in Oil & Gas projects.
· Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9000 series).
· Experience with regulatory compliance and audit process.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (e.g. Root Cause Analysis).
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Attention to detail and proactive approach.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, as a minimum.
· Experience with construction process improvement in various Oil & Gas projects.
