Deputy Registrar (HR)

The incumbent will be mainly in charge of entire HR functions across the University. He/she will be responsible for employee’s career development, contributing to the conception, implementation and follow up of policy documents and implementing procedures related to recruitment, personnel management and HR operations at all the Campuses. Due to sensitivity of the job, a high degree of confidentiality is required from successful candidate.

The position involves –

  • Responsibility of manpower Planning, recruitment, on-boarding, employee engagement, induction, succession planning, off boarding.

  • Implementation & smooth running of Performance Management System and related promotion Scheme or any other motivational policy and procedures for the retention of the staff.

  • Providing guidance to the Heads in the setting up and regular update of job descriptions

  • Establishing effective job related and personal objectives, advising on appropriate and coordinated follow up.

  • Giving orientation and guidance to employees on self-assessment, development perspectives and career related options, working in close relation with the HR training person or Departments/Schools/Campus to design individual training paths.

  • Drafting, revising and monitoring HR policies, orientation documents, and internal rules and implementing procedures in close coordination with all the sectors.

  • Contributing to the planning and follow up of the personnel budget.

  • Maintain leave records, allocating and reallocating of the recourses.

  • Maintaining the Database & employee records.

  • Managing compensation and benefits systems in close coordination with the payroll team.

  • Designing & Upgrading business Processes as per the requirement of the University.

  • The timelines for all the above activities need to be followed and maintained from time to time.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have a Post graduate degree preferably in HR Management and/or business administration, from reputed institutes, with 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.

The candidates with experience in Educational Institutes/University will be preferred.

Knowledge of Computer is a must. He/She should have hands on experience on HRMS systems especially Oracle/SAP.

Should have Good interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels.
