Monarch Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support medical and surgical dermatology care in our physician-owned dermatology clinic in Fort Worth.

This role is well suited for a Medical Assistant who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a clinical environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well within a team, and genuinely cares about delivering excellent patient care.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant at Monarch Dermatology, you will play a central role in supporting both medical and procedural dermatology visits. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to anticipate provider needs in a busy clinical environment. Medical Assistants are responsible for supporting clinic flow while ensuring patients receive attentive, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Room patients efficiently and accurately
• Obtain and document medical histories
• Scribe visit documentation in the EMR (EMA experience preferred)
• Assist with dermatologic procedures including biopsies and excisions
• Prepare instruments and procedure trays
• Manage pathology specimens and clinical photographs
• Ensure consents and documentation are completed correctly
• Maintain exam room readiness and supplies
• Support infection control and safety protocols
• Anticipate provider needs to maintain efficient clinic flow
• Communicate clearly with providers, front desk staff, and fellow medical assistants

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification (required prior to start date)
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred but not required
