Dermatology Physician Assistant

Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation to determine dermatological conditions.
• Assist dermatologists with clinical procedures such as laser treatments, and injection administration.
• Manage patient care plans by coordinating follow-up appointments, discharge planning, and post-treatment instructions.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging and laboratory data collection to support accurate diagnoses.
• Administer treatments including botulinum toxin therapy, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic or medical procedures following aseptic technique standards.
• Maintain detailed, timely medical records using EMR systems; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience working in dermatology STRONGLY PREFERRED.
• Strong background in management of dermatologic conditions, performing various dermatologic procedures, and injection administration within a clinical environment.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to skin structures and physiology to inform accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
