Budget Blinds of Sarasota & Venice is expanding and looking for a driven Design Consultant / Sales Professional to join our team.

This is a high-opportunity, in-home sales position working with homeowners designing custom window coverings including shades, shutters, blinds, and drapery.

We are the top-performing Budget Blinds territory in the country- serving Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties.

Our market is strong, our brand is trusted, and our team is growing.

The Opportunity:

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, loves sales, and wants the opportunity to earn six figures or more. Our designers meet homeowners for scheduled consultations where they help design and quote custom window coverings.

We provide qualified leads and appointments daily.

Typical schedule:

• 3 company-provided appointments per day (sometimes 2 depending on flow/drive time)

• Experienced consultants build their schedule to 3–4 appointments daily

Our average sale is approximately $4,000, and many homes result in $5,000 – $40,000+ projects. We don’t typically share sales metrics publicly (although we will with you monthly), but to give you a sense of the opportunity we are WELL OVER $5M in annual sales. And we need someone in and on the road rapidly to reach out next milestone of growth.

Top performers in this role have historically produced $1M+ in annual sales and earned well into six figures.

What We Provide:

• Company vehicle (mini van) with full display kit

• Gas card for company vehicle

• iPad with CRM and quoting software

• Measuring tools and laser

• Pre-qualified company leads and scheduled appointments

You will spend your time meeting clients and closing sales — not hunting for leads.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners

• Design custom window covering solutions

• Take accurate measurements

• Generate quotes using our CRM system

• Submit accurate orders and specifications

• Provide a polished and professional customer experience

Ideal Candidate

• Professional and confident communicator

• Strong people skills

• Comfortable working independently

• Sales experience preferred but not required

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working with homeowners, solving problems, and closing deals; and understands you’ll be running your own business inside of our larger operation. That comes with costs (measuring errors), but we are structured in a way where those are covered if you perform. Straight commission. Monthly bonuses ($1k+). Year-end bonuses ($2k+). Our commission structure is tied to GP, giving you control of your earnings based on how you price jobs/discount and ability to sell on value.
