Design Sales Consultant – Full Time

Pay: Starting at $20/hour + Monthly Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Design Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interior design, working closely with clients, and helping people select materials that define their spaces.

You’ll guide customers through the tile selection process, balancing design vision, lifestyle needs, and budget—while building long-term relationships.

Experience in tile, interior design, kitchen & bath, or building materials is strongly preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a passion for design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting tile, stone, glass, and mosaic products
• Translate client ideas into functional and beautiful design solutions
• Educate customers on materials, layouts, and installation considerations
• Stay up to date on design trends and product knowledge
• Build and maintain a loyal client base
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional showroom experience

Qualifications

• Passion for interior design and strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Sales or showroom experience preferred
• Ability to listen, guide, and build trust with clients
• Proficient math and computer skills
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Self-motivated and team-oriented

Schedule

• Full-time (5 days/week)
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday evening until 7:00 PM
• Closed Sundays and Mondays

Training

We provide hands-on training in:

• Tile and stone products
• Design principles and current trends
• Customer consultation techniques
• Building and maintaining a client base
