Design Coordinator

Choice Home Remodeling is a growing, family-owned company based in New Holland, PA seeking a Design Coordinator . We are looking for an individual to work alongside our Kitchen & Bath designers to facilitate the day-to-day functions of the overall needs of the department.

Hours: 9a-5p Monday thru Friday, (1) 9a-1p Saturday roughly every 6 weeks

Compensation: Hourly based on experience.

Duties:

-Assisting the designers with various tasks including proposal revisions, pulling appliance specifications and quoting/ordering product
-Maintain extremely well-organized files and calendar at all times
-Answer the phone in a friendly manner and take accurate messages
-Deliver or pick up materials or samples
-Respond to issues brought up by customers, designers, and others with respect, kindness, and in an appropriate and timely manner
-Work as a team with fellow employees to ensure the customer receives the best service possible.

The ideal candidate would have some experience in kitchen & bath design and construction, but we are willing to train. The candidate must be a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multi-tasking with considerable detail orientation. The candidate should enjoy working with and serving others, professional in appearance, tactful, courteous, and responsive.

Computer knowledge is a MUST as many aspects of the position involve working on a computer.

Requirements:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates well, and ability to greet potential clients with confidence

Preferred:

- Kitchen & Bath/Construction experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Quote requests

- Keeping showroom maintained with samples & literature

- Working with department members to ensure smooth projects & their completion

- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, & manage time independently

- Maintain vendor relationships

- The ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to learn, take initiative and be independent when job requires
