Design Engineer

• Prepare detailed electrical design and general arrangement drawings for LV switchgear panels, MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, and control panels.
• Review project specifications, single line diagrams (SLDs), and load schedules.
• Coordinate with estimation, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Prepare material lists, component selections, and BOQs as per design requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, DEWA, SEWA, ADDC).
• Support the project and sales teams in technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Update drawings and documents as per client or site modification requirements.
• Maintain records of revisions, approvals, and design files for documentation control.
• Assist in product development and standardization initiatives for switchgear systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in LV Switchgear Design within the UAE or GCC.
• Technical Proficiency:
• AutoCAD Electrical and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of switchgear components (ABB, Schneider, Siemens, LS, etc.).
• Familiar with IEC standards and local authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Knowledge in Dewa, Fewa, Sewa, Abu Dhabi authorities' regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
