Design Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Design Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing heater assemblies, developing efficient fabrication processes, and supporting product innovation initiatives. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with practical experience in heating element design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop heater assemblies and components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (2D/3D).

· Perform product development with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and cost optimization.

· Select appropriate materials for heating elements based on thermal and mechanical requirements.

· Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.

· Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop fabrication processes and ensure design feasibility.

· Support basic thermal analysis and simulation activities.

· Create detailed manufacturing drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

· Assist in continuous product improvement and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in heater assembly and fabrication.

Technical Skills:

· Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (2D/3D modeling)

• Strong knowledge of heater assembly and fabrication design
• Familiarity with DFM, material selection, and thermal principles
• Basic understanding of simulation tools and thermal analysis
• Proficient in BOM preparation, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills (English, Gujarati, Hindi)

Package: As per company norms / Standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,912.22 - ₹39,905.35 per month
