Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Job description

• 3D modeling, Design detailing and Advance modeling in Creo.
• Hands on Experience in CAD software SolidWorks or Creo. (Detailing and Sheet metal Assembly and plastic component design).
• Work experience on maintaining large assemblies with Top down design methodology in Creo/Soilworks
• Knowledge on Plastics & Sheet metal parts Design is must.
• Exposure in Product Design and conceptual design field.
• Should have sound knowledge on making manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
• Should have knowledge of the LV electrical standard in distribution IEC, UL standards (IEC-61439)
• Will be responsible for the quality and timely execution of deliverables
• Good communication skills to interact with manufacturing team and tool activity.
• Ability to develop new methods, ideas, suggestions, procedures or technologies for enhancement of current process.
• A self initiator and motivator.
• Should be able to work in a team.
• Prepare documentation
• Create test specifications, perform testing and quality assurance

Minimum Qualifications:

• BE, B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical) 3-5 years, & Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 4 to 6 years in Design & development of Low voltage switchgear products like MCCB, MCB
• Hands on experience in Creo, Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of database like MS Excel, MS Access
• Knowledge of thermal modeling & electrical cooling system design
• Knowledge of electrical components like breakers, conductors, insulation material etc.
• Demonstrated strong analytical aptitude, team player and should have attitude towards developmental activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
