Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and ELV systems.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, schematics, and coordination drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE Civil Defence, NFPA, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site teams.
• Attend technical meetings and site inspections when required.
• Review IFC drawings and convert them into approved shop drawings.
• Support material submittals and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawing revisions and document control are properly maintained.
• Assist in clash detection and coordination with other disciplines.
• Provide technical support to site execution teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in MEP / Fire Life Safety design.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Knowledge of Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical systems.
• Familiar with UAE Civil Defence, NFPA, and local authority standards.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
