Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of layouts, 2D& 3D model and other CAD related drawings/documents which
• are required for project shop drawings
• Liaise and work closely with the project team, coordinate with the contractor and consultants to prepare
• and complete project deliverables.
• Perform a checking function, to a high standard with design manager assistance where necessary.
• Maintain a responsible attitude to the health and safety of self and others in accordance with
• Brandsafway legislative guidelines.
• Client visits with the sales team to support technical matters and site visits whenever required.
• Mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to align engineering efforts with organizational goals.
• Site supervision during the construction stage, site visit when necessary.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in
• Engineering (Civil).
• From 3-7 Year(s) of working experience in the Formwork/access designs with a good knowledge of formwork,
• Shoring and access products.
• 2 Year(s) Site experience is preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD software, good with Microsoft Office.
• Preferably experience in the formwork industry, specialized in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural
• or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Arabic, English
