Design Engineer - Conveyor Background

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conveyor systems (belt conveyors, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, screw conveyors, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/ISolid Edge.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement.
• Collaborate with the project, procurement, and production teams for smooth execution.
• Modify and optimize designs to improve performance, cost efficiency, and ease of manufacturing.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and client specifications.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases, if required.
• Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, as-built drawings, and project records.

Qualifications & Experience

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2–5 years of experience in designing conveyor systems or material handling equipment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D design software.

Knowledge of fabrication, mechanical components, and material selection.

Familiarity with industrial standards and safety requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
