DESIGN ENGINEER -ELV

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ELV System Design Engineer with MOI experience is responsible for the design, coordination, and approval of ELV and Building Management Systems in compliance with Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) and relevant authority standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop ELV systems including:

• CCTV Surveillance Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Structured Cabling (Cat6 / Cat6A / Fiber Optic)
• Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems
• Intercom Systems
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Building Management System

Prepare design drawings, schematics, IO Schedule and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.

Prepare and submit ELV designs as per MOI SSD requirements.

Handle Design submissions, Shop drawing approvals, Final MOI inspection & clearance

Attend technical meetings and resolve design/interface issues.

Provide technical guidance during installation of ELV & BMS systems.

Conduct site inspections and ensure installation aligns with approved designs.

Support system integration and interface testing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.

8–10+ years of proven experience in ELV & BMS system design and preparation of detailed engineering drawings.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under tight project deadlines.
