Design & Estimation Engineer

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Fire & Safety industry in Dubai Emirate.
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team ( engineers, consultants), and client
• Design fire protection systems (Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Voice Evacuation, and other life safety systems) in compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA, and relevant civil defense regulations.
• Prepare accurate BOQs
• Analyze project specifications and tender documents to develop precise cost estimates, including materials, equipment, labor, and subcontracting.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure all designs meet project scope, timelines, and regulatory standards.
• Attend site visits and surveys to collect data and assess site conditions for effective design and estimation.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions, including compliance statements and deviation lists.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive quotations and stay updated on pricing, lead times, and product specifications.
• Ensure all design documentation and estimation work align with Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) requirements and approval procedures.
• Support project teams during execution by providing clarification on design intent, technical details, and system integration.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire protection technologies, DCD updates, NFPA codes, and industry best practices.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Estimator in Fire protection company: 1 year (Required)
