We are seeking an experienced Design Manager with over 10 years of experience to support the delivery of a portfolio of legacy projects undergoing business plan revisions. The role will focus on managing new Local Design Consultant (LDC) contracts, overseeing master plan changes, land use adjustments, and the design of small-scale vertical assets such as public buildings and amenities. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing 3–4 concurrent projects, ensuring design quality, coordination, and timely delivery across all workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the design process for multiple small to mid-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee the development and execution of new LDC contracts in line with updated business plans.
  • Coordinate master plan revisions and land use changes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise the design of small vertical assets (e.g., public facilities, community buildings).
  • Ensure alignment with project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Review and approve design submissions at key milestones.
  • Facilitate coordination between planning, infrastructure, and architectural teams.
  • Monitor design progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design management, urban planning, or architecture.
  • Proven experience in residential master plan delivery and public asset design.
  • Strong understanding of land use planning, zoning, and development regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and consultants concurrently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi regulatory environment is an advantage.
