About the role

As the Design Manager, you will be the visual engine of the Brio brand. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, Digital, you will lead a team of mid-level and junior designers to execute high-impact creative for Amazon (PDP/EBC), global product launches, and our Shopify storefront. You aren't just managing pixels; you’re managing people, processes, and the pursuit of a premium, conversion-driven customer experience.


What you'll do

  • Amazon & Marketplace Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end creation of high-converting Amazon listing images, A+ Content (EBC), and Brand Store layouts. Ensure all assets are optimized for mobile and desktop conversion.
  • Shopify & Web Design: Lead the design and maintenance of our Shopify storefront. Collaborate with the digital team to create landing pages, update product modules, and improve the UI/UX to drive DTC sales.
  • Product Launch Strategy: Lead the visual strategy for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring a cohesive look and feel from initial teaser to full-scale marketplace rollout.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, inspire, and grow a team of junior and mid-level designers. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, provide constructive critiques, and foster a culture of professional growth.
  • Digital Marketing & E-commerce: Drive the creative direction for email marketing (Klaviyo), paid social ads (Meta, Google), and web banners, ensuring brand consistency across the entire funnel.
  • Workflow Optimization: Implement and refine design workflows to ensure the team hits tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

  • 6+ Years of Design Experience: A strong background in graphic design, specifically within the consumer electronics or home goods sector.
  • 2+ Years of Leadership: Proven experience managing a creative team and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Shopify Savvy: Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including designing for themes, app integrations, and mobile-first web layouts.
  • E-commerce DNA: Expert-level understanding of Amazon's visual requirements. You know the difference between a "pretty" image and an "effective" one.
  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with Figma for web prototyping is highly preferred.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate marketing data and consumer insights into compelling visual stories.
  • Portfolio: A diverse portfolio showcasing clean aesthetics, successful product launches, and high-performing digital marketing assets.

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Softline HQ)
