Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead our design department in delivering high-performance façade solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in aluminum and façade system engineering and demonstrate the ability to manage the complete design lifecycle—from concept development through execution. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and consultants, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. Design Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage the façade design team across multiple concurrent projects
• Review, validate, and approve technical drawings, calculations, and design submissions
• Provide expert guidance on façade system selection, material performance, and constructability

2. Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems with architectural and structural designs
• Participate in design and coordination meetings to address client and consultant requirements
• Provide technical support to project execution and site teams during implementation

3. Technical Documentation & Compliance

• Supervise preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Maintain standardized design documentation procedures and technical libraries

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and implement new façade systems, materials, and design methodologies
• Lead initiatives to improve design quality, efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
• Stay updated on industry trends, façade engineering innovations, and sustainable design practices

5. Team Development & Mentorship

• Mentor junior designers and draftsmen, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment
• Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate technical performance
• Promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning within the design team

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
• 10–15 years of experience in aluminum and façade system design, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven experience delivering high-rise, commercial, or iconic façade projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar 3D design and modeling tools
• Strong understanding of structural behavior, thermal performance, and façade materials
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
