Job Title: Interior Fit-Out DesignerDepartment: Design / Fit-OutReports To: Design Manager / Project ManagerJob Summary:

The Interior Fit-Out Designer is responsible for creating functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective interior design solutions for commercial, retail, and residential projects. The role involves preparing design concepts, detailed drawings, material selections, and coordinating with project teams to ensure the design intent is executed on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and presentations based on client requirements.
• Prepare space planning, layout drawings, and detailed fit-out design drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualizations for client approvals.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to ensure design execution aligns with drawings.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and quality standards.
• Manage revisions and client feedback throughout the design process.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material samples and quotations.
• Support in preparing BOQs and design documentation for project handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out design (commercial, retail, or residential).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Revit, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of materials, joinery details, and MEP coordination.
• Excellent creativity, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in UAE or GCC fit-out companies.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
• Experience with design–build or turnkey interior projects.
