Designer/Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. Must have the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimating
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and contract terms.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Security Industry or similar
• Familiarity with Burglary, Fire, Cameras and Access is a plus .
• Solid understanding of cost control measures within construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in pricing and budgeting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Fire Life Safety Certificate or any equivalent certification is a plus

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
